If you have a car, the Cabo de Gata natural park is not far and the ‘mini Hollywood’ theme park, near where the spaghetti westerns were made is a great day’s entertainment. Granada and the magnificent and incredible Moorish Alhambra palace is only 3 hours away.   Mojacar offers sailing, fishing, bowling, tennis and all sorts of watersports including: windsurfing, kitesurfing, canoeing, waterskiing, microlite trips, and the opportunity to hike ormountain bike in the surrounding mountains for a unique experience. The house is 5 minutes walk from the beach and about the same to the mountains. there is a nearby Water park and local markets in Mojacar and all the surrounding villages. There is an equestrian centre on the playa and they arrange treks in the hills for experienced riders.
