Accommodation
La Mata is a well established apartment situated between Mojacar Playa and Garrucha. A full time gardener maintains the private gardens and large communal swimming pool to a high standard. Car parking is adjacent to the apartment.
The apartment is on the first level approached by steps, and comprises an entrance terrace opening into a large lounge/diner, kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The fully equipped bathrooms have full size baths with showers over, bidet, toilet, wash basin, mirror, wall heater and shaver socket.
The luxury fitted kitchen has twin sinks, washing machine, four hot plate hob and oven, fridge-freezer, microwave/grill, electric kettle, toaster and ample work surfaces. Off the kitchen a large utility room houses ironing board, iron, barbecue, beach chairs etc and water heater.
The master bedroom is tastefully furnished with king-size double bed and includes hot/cold air-conditioning unit and a door opening onto the terrace. The second bedroom has two 3ft beds and a ceiling fan.
The lounge/diner has 2 settees, TV with Sky free view, DVD, video, hi-fi and hot/cold air conditioning and gas heater. Sliding doors open on to the good-sized terrace with patio table, chairs and loungers.
Cleaning; change of linen and towels weekly (please provide your own beach towels). Please don’t take towels from the apartment to the beach or pool.
Facilities
As well as the excellent community swimming pool and gardens, the wide sandy beach is only 300 metres away with a small hotel and swimming pool where you can get drinks and snacks. Meals available in summer. A sports club across the road provides facilities for tennis, lawn bowls and a golf course is very close by. There are many local supermarkets, some of which are especially noted for their exceptional fresh fish. There are also hire shops on Mojacar Playa.
